One of the most flexible image size designs - no background, shaped to fit round products nicely, no ugly hard edges on the apparel. Treating it as a full bleed - i.e. leaving a blank border around the edges, means no resizing, but leaves the image a bit smaller for the non-bleed items. With a white or transparent background it could be designed all the way to the edges, keeping inside the circle. The down side of doing that is that you will have to manually resize on the bleed items. Making the background transparent rather than white allows use of the image on dark apparel as well.
